Job Description

Reporting to : Head of Function

Indicative Reportees : 0 to 2

Band Role : Individual Contributor / Specialist

This role will support the Business to develop and implement HCM related strategies and execute plans to achieve required business outcomes. This role drives project management for various HCM initiatives including Staffing, On-boarding, Employee Engagement, Policies and Procedures, Statutory Compliances, etc.

- Partner with business on manpower planning, succession planning and skills assessment
- Developing strategies to brand/market the organization to potential qualified applicants
- Partner with colleges and institutes and build a robust campus hiring program
- Developing staffing strategies to ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner which includes leadership hiring, recruitment drives, campus drives and specialized hiring
- Managing and evaluating external recruiting agencies
- Coach, train and mentor employees for them to lead and manage teams effectively
- Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and employee experience
- Work with business managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues ensuring a balance in representing all parties interests and perspectives
- Implement and administer corporate policies/programs/procedures
- Plan, manage and provide continuous improvement to all aspects of the organization including both annual and mid-year processes which focus on performance management and talent development
- Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their business goals
- Work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives

- Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on human resources related matters, policies and procedures
- Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job evaluation
- Assist in developing and implementing employee surveys and questionnaires, including analysis and action planning based on survey results.


Ideal Candidate & Qualifications

Qualification : MBA or Equivalent

Skills:

- Strong business and HR acumen

- Critical thinking

- Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness

- Knowledge of employment laws
