Job Description

We are seeking a Head of Business Development to forge new distribution channels and monetization opportunities for the company. This position reports to the EVP and Global Head of Business Development - Strategy and Analytics Business for BFSI industry.

You will have responsibility to create and manage our strategic partnerships with the guiding principle of helping our rapidly expanding client base improve their strategic decision making.

  • As a core senior member of the EMEA business team, you will lead the development and execution of the three-year strategic and financial operating plan that anticipates customer and market trends, maintains leadership, and drives revenue growth above market.
  • Oversee the development and execution of annual marketing plans, technical support and national sales plans and ensures that all plans are well integrated.
  • Manage the business unit P&L, including forecasting for annual and quarterly accounting period reviews ensuring key brand and customer segment revenues, profit margins and expenses are in line with division and company expectations.


Ideal Candidate & Qualifications

  • You have 15+ years of relevant experience in Analytics, Strategy, Banking and Financial Services or Tech deal making experience.
  • Established Fintech relationships and network are a plus but not required.
  • You have demonstrated ability to develop relationships and negotiate partnerships with the most senior executives at companies ranging from start-ups to large corporations.
  • You are passionate about mobile, Fintech and the opportunity to help build a major financial services analytics consulting brand.
  • Skilled in functional competencies of managing all aspects of a commercial business.
  • Ability to think and act strategically, particularly as it relates to building a profitable and sustainable portfolio.
  • Exemplifies what it means to be a change agent, continuous learner, and pushing self / others beyond dominant logic.
  • Strong influencer - You create compelling narratives that bring stakeholders onboard and influence your team members; you have ability to clearly articulate decisions in a compelling way.
  • Customer Focus - You insist on thinking through the entire customer experience and optimizing all aspects of it.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and proven ability to manage budgets and expenses.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage colleagues, to be a team player and player/coach.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills; strong negotiation/persuasion and presentation skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and make thoughtful, fair decisions based on relevant information.
  • Commitment to travel to internal and external meetings, conventions, tradeshows, and customer interactions (>30%).
  • Expertize in working in a cross-functional team-based environment, aligning with and influencing internal and external stakeholders, and building / managing relationships at all levels of an organization.
