RESPONSIBILITIES

The DBD directs business development and sales activities with prospective clients and is accountable for the client relationship from deal conception to closing. Responsible for selling Advanced Analytics (predictive) Products with a focus on generating new business and growing revenue.

Our Sales team helps the clients to architect future state operating models, enhance service operations, and maximize the value from our engagement.

This individual leverages his/her domain, technical, digital and operational business knowledge to create demand and persuade prospective clients through the development and presentation of compelling value propositions and purchasing rationales.

The DBD will thoroughly understand the prospective clients business, both strategic and tactical, including themes and underlying issues, and will align our current and future capabilities to create client opportunity and solve business problems.


Ideal Candidate & Qualifications



EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate sales objectives > $x M in new sales bookings each quarter for our analytics group
  • Develop presentations, business cases and ROI models, RFQ responses, Statements of Work and other documentation as necessary in an effort to present in the context of client needs and facilitate new business Sales from Initial Contact through Contract Signature
  • Ensure contractual alignment and input with Support Team(s) to ensure client deliverables and timelines are met with frequent internal communication to ensure internal teams are prepared to deliver successfully for our new clients
  • Travel as needed to client sites to lead client meetings including incorporating appropriate resources when needed
  • Effectively communicate the Sutherland Nuevora value proposition at CXO, VP and other levels
  • Work well with cross functional teams to be responsive to clients and advance Sales opportunities through Sales Stages
  • Create and update Sales forecast in sf.com to accurately reflect sales pipeline activity and ensure forecasting and fiscal revenue recognition and timing accuracy
  • Work with business operations to create and update opportunity financial models for approval and compliance
  • Ensure effective control of sales process and results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of objectives falls within designated budgets
  • Constantly read and study market research and adjust sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry and client influencers
  • Interact with our business development team to drive relationships with key strategic partners
  • Lead presentations to executive management at Sutherland and at clients
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all internal and external communication
  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales related units
  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budget
  • Assist other departments to provide input into technical publications, product roadmaps, etc.
  • Prepare bi-weekly sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Review and analyze sales performances against quota and plan to determine the effectiveness
  • Direct product research and development
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of product features, functionality and roadmap at business and technical levels

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum
    7 years of business development experience selling into Retail, Travel, Logistics or
    Hi-Tech clients
  • Minimum
    3 years experience selling analytics as a service
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Hunter,
    opening new logos
